Dusan is first encountered in the secondary school with programming, and he entered the world of IT industry after completing the practice in several companies during which he was educated to test the software using Java Script, HTML, CSS and Angular framework. In the last few years, its fields of work were both manual and automated testing of the React web application.

Today, Dušan is part of the Quantox team in Niš, where he works on testing Java applications using Selenium and Applause framework. Extremely communicative, motivated and always willing to solve all problems together with colleagues.

Software tester as a team member

How does team see tester?

Testing is often seen as a destructive activity. So, the role of the tester sometimes can be really specific. In some cases, tester won’t fit in the team easily. Developers sometimes think that tester is against them and that could produce problems. The software tester needs to convince the rest of the team that her/his part is really important and to have good communication with them and in a nice way prove them that he is not their opponent. Tester plays on the same team, just with different duties.
